About Us
The Good 'N' Famous Foam Company was founded in 2000 by W.R. & Robbie Goodin in Buna, Texas. Offering the retail floral industry the most complete line of foam sympathy products, it quickly grew from two products to the almost forty it offers today. The "Rugged" 36" cross and "Family Bible" are still popular as ever but now there are many products which are not just sympathy oriented but can be used in everyday, party work, and even weddings.
Some of the more popular lines have been the wildlife and fish products. Ducks, fish, and antlers have quickly been accepted by designers from all parts of the country. They are lightweight, durable, and attractive.
There are products in all sizes and colors; crosses range from 13" to 36" - "Celtic" - "Decorative" - "Stone" - different styles for different applications.
A Vine Idea was founded by Elton Powell in 1995 and has emerged as one of the leaders in specialty grapevine products. Of course we offer wreaths and ovals, but our repuation has been built with our own original creations. The "Crying Wreath" which was introduced in 2002 still remains a standard in sympathy and designers depend on it for those special funeral tributes.
A Vine Idea offers a complete line of crosses (four styles, two sizes each) including the popular "Infinity Cross" which was intoduced int he spring of 2004.
Flora-Grapics, the newest member of the W.R. Goodin Company, offers one of our most unique products. The new concepts of floral streamers with personalized words or messages meets the need for personalizing sympathy work at a very reasonable cost. The traditional old style gold letter (glittered) have now been replaced with preprinted streamers of satin ribbon 28" long that can be used in casket pieces, sprays, plants, etc.
Designers can now offer their customers a custom look at a low price. It gives florists something to sell that will differentiate their work from the mass markets. Their use is only limited by the designer's imagination. Offering nearly twenty-five sentiments they will suit most situations. Thos is a product that has been needed for years.
